Susie Sarlo

Susie Sarlo is dedicated to improving life outcomes for youth and believes mental health is a basic human right. She was a founder of the Funder Network on Trauma and Resiliency and served on the boards of The Philanthropy Workshop and the Center for Youth Wellness. Prior to her work in philanthropy, Susie founded Sarlo Beauty Corporation and worked in brand development, strategic positioning, and national distribution. She was one of the original members of Butler, Shine and Stern Partners, a Bay Area-based advertising agency. As head account supervisor, Susie leveraged her experience in market research, campaigns, and media planning to manage and advise multimillion-dollar accounts. Susie holds a BA from UCLA and is a graduate of The Philanthropy Workshop. Susie is the loving and proud parent of two young adults.
